What a lightning can do to your modem =O

So when web pages stopped loading I though something might have happened. When I checked the server, keyboard leds where all lid, screen was black. Modem's top cover lay on the printer, roughly 30 cm away from the device.

Surprisingly, only server's mainboard got fried. Everything else, including CPU and memory, survived. Apparently the voltage was too low to blow off telephone line protection, but high enough to make capacitors explode in that poor designed modem.
